Long before Covid-19 Pandemic came along, Adagio London had heavily invested in products for hand hygiene and sourced soaps not only from the UK but Ireland, Italy and soon Scotland.
With the recent increase of the R rate for Covid-19 infections, a number of communities in lockdowns or facing impending lockdowns, we thought we would revisit the theme of soaps and hand washing.
The original pandemic back in March 2020 saw the World Health Organisation(WHO), the NHS and other similar organisations across the World stress time and again the importance and efficacy of hand washing to reduce the spread of the virus. Added to that were the concerted campaign by all sections of the media to hammer home the message.
Adagio took this to heart as did our customers who showed increased interest in our extensive range of soaps and body wash during this time. Our soaps come in traditional bars as well as liquid forms both equally effective against the virus A choice of fragranced, non-fragranced and for those with allergies and skin conditions sensitive to soaps a range is available in our collection to allow for this.
Our products in the hand and body care range are environmentally friendly, made from bio-degradable sources using 100% vegetable oils, are vegan friendly, not tested on animals, parabens free, SLS and SLES, packaging is recyclable and plastic free
Our soaps are mainly created by using 100% traditional triple milled methods to create a luxurious product leaving the skin soft and fresh smelling.

The significance of Sanitisers can not be overlooked. Whilst its not possible to carry a soap with you on the go or move, the much more versatile hand sanitiser is available and comes in pocket size form that can be used on the go between hand washes. Whilst there are many hand sanitisers available out there it is important to note that not all provide for effective protection against viruses such as the Covid-19 virus
