The Joy of Games

As we enter our favourite time of the year – CHRISTMAS – At Adagio London – WE LOVE CHRISTMAS –  The fun, laughter, snow, lights, the nativity, midnight mass, christmas films, cards, decorations, christmas trees, singing, carolling, giving and receiving of presents, candles, crackers, games and time with the family. Mmmmmm, the christmas dinner. IT’s THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR.

We wanted to highlight some of the games you might enjoy and give some background to where and when they originated.

It is said, that the family that play together, stay together. Games are a great way to bring family and friends into your bubble for a bit of healthy competition this Christmas  More than ever we need to bring fun, laughter, young and old together and our games are guaranteed to do just that.

“A Game is a system in which players engage in an artificial conflict defined by rules that result in a quantifiable outcomes”. Furthermore, benefit of games includes the educational aspects – concentration, co-ordination, co-operation, (healthy) competition and strategy.

Games have an interesting and noble history which we at Adagio thought to share with you….
